How this works

Dinner party or cooking class, I will help make your special event even more memorable with a kitchen adventure!

I’m an in-house cook only, catering or drop-off food is not available.

For classes and event meals: I bring in the groceries, spices and cleaning supplies. We will use the dishes, silverware, serving dishes, etc. in the units, but I may bring in some additional items, as needed.

I cook intuitively and encourage my students to practice these techniques, as well. I cook to the season and to what’s on hand. I will provide recipes as examples for the classes, but then we’ll do our best to ignore them.

I will need cleared counter space, an empty sink and room in the fridge for groceries, and then for the finished food. I can hand wash and put away dishes from the events, so you don’t even have to worry about unloading the dishwasher, if that’s part of your design.  In the modern world, I wear a mask to the grocery store.  I am double vaccinated and will continue to wear a mask on-site, if that’s what makes you and your group comfortable.

ALLERGIES PLEASE NOTE: I won’t bring products into the units that you put on an allergy list, but I can’t guarantee that there is no cross contamination from other projects. Depending on your level of sensitivity, I might not be a good fit.

Billing – whatever works best for you. Generally, I send an invoice for the reservation fee and another for the event through Square. I can take payment through that invoice, or check/cash in person, made out to Breakfast Life and Dinner. For Event Meals or in-unit classes, a non-refundable $50 deposit reserves your day on my calendar.

  • Would you like me to serve a plated dinner experience? Each course is an event to itself as I become your waiter and tour guide.
  • Generally, I will do all the prep dishes and leave a sparkling kitchen. If you would like for me to be your dishwasher, I’m happy to clean every glass and fork and leave you with nothing to worry about for after the party, or the next day.
